Build a mobile snowboarding Ramp on top of a Limousine

How about ditching a party and head for the hills for one day and have limousine trip to ski resort and do some snowboarding. Make this trip an extra special one by booking a limousine that can drive up the hill into the snow and make a snowboarding ramp out of it.

It does sound like a crazy idea for snowboarders. Most would say – impossible. Well, there is someone out there who made a limousine just for that purpose. Its an old stretched 1995 Lincoln Towncar with 7″ Suspension lift and a snowboard ramp build on top.

Booking a limousine for your trip is an easier feat than having to drive yourself. By booking a limousine, you do not have to worry about the routes to take, finding a parking space (or in some cases, parking very far away and having to walk to the desired destination), the traffic condition, making the wrong turn and end up lost or feeling tired from all that driving around the places that you want to go. Besides, when you book a limousine for your holiday, you and your travel buddies or loved ones will be able to travel in style. Imagine the envious looks on people’s faces when they see you stepping out of a limousine – priceless, isn’t it?

You can look at some of the most exotic limousines out there on New York Limousines website.

Propane-Powered Stretched H2 Hummer

What does this world come to?! We’re slowly getting tired of high gas prices. Everybody has enough of the gas price hikes. We do not want to pay extra for SUVs when we rent them because they are just gas-guzzlers.

When you stretch a limousine, be sure that you are looking for the best gas mileage and think about what you need in an SUV. Be sure that you are always looking for what the SUV is going to do for you, and don’t buy anything bigger than what you need it for. If you don’t’ need an SUV, don’t buy one.

First and foremost, as anyone who watches the evening news knows, the price of gas has skyrocketed and SUVs are notorious for poor gas mileage. Or are they? Depending on what make and model of SUV you choose, some get as good or better gas mileage than some large cars. Also, more and more auto manufacturers are designing hybrid gas-electric SUVs that provide better gas mileage along with the traditional extra space and power of SUVs.

Why not employ this technology to stretch limousines. You ask yourself – “stretch limousine on propane” – nobody has done is yet. Well, someone did. There is a limousine company in Chicago that just ordered Propane powered H2 Hummer Stretch 22 passenger limousine. Check the video below.

The Secret of securing an Airport Limousine

There is always something that separates exceptional businesspeople from your average ones. It’s not just the suit they wear, how much it costs, or the way they carry themselves. It goes much deeper than that. To their innate business sense, ability to find out the best value, their skills at finding the finest things at a bargain price. Typical example is an airport limousine booking.

An airport limo may not be the deal breaker that decides whether a businessperson will launch their career to the boardroom. But it’s sure an indication of an eye for class and cost-effectiveness.

Just think of all the time and money you can save having a limo pick you up at unknown airport. Instead of waiting in line for your rental car, then wasting time getting lost on the way to the hotel, you could get picked up in style, without any waiting and without even straining to drag your luggage around. During the ride to the hotel, instead of squinting at the map and burning gas, you could lounge in the back of the stretch limo, watch TV, listen to smooth tunes and prepare for your big meeting, or catch a nap before the important conference.

The hardest part about booking an airport limousine is choosing among the types of vehicles out there. The key to the choice is planning for the number of other people in your travel party. For instance, here are the three major styles of limo you can pick from, with their typical corresponding occupancy rates:

Sedans: Seats as many as 3 passengers with luggage.
Stretch Limousine: Seats as many as 8 passengers with luggage.
Private Van: Seats as many as 14 passengers with luggage.

Now, lets talk price. Experianced businessmen also know when it’s worthwhile to spend a bit on something more to guarantee quality. That is definitely the case when choosing among limo companies.

Never pick on lowest price alone.

It could be crucial for your comfort to also ask whether the limo is smoking or nonsmoking. For smokers this is a no-brainer, for non-smokers that don’t ask, your may be picked up in a smoky smelling limo.

Ask if the company guarantees direct service between the airport and the hotel. Some vans will fill up with strangers and stop at each of their hotels along the route. Let’s say your pickup time is 6:30. That should give you plenty of time to make your 8:30 flight, right? Not if you make 8 stops along with way. Did you ask if it’s a shared ride?

Once you finally found your baggage claim, hunted for your luggage, do you want to start hunting for your limo driver? The company should offer the classic meet-and-greet: the service where the driver holds the sign with your name on it at the airport terminal. Some companies don’t even bother to have a driver come out from the car. Most of the time when you chose inside pickup, the company will check the flight arrival time so you don’t get overcharged if the plane is delayd.

Do you need a multilingual chauffeur? It would be nice to have someone that understands you and the locals when traveling overseas.

Of course, that’s not to say you shouldn’t consider price. Donald Trump wouldn’t let his limo service take him to the cleaners, after all. So inquire when making your limo reservation about the logistics of your rate. Most limousine companies will have a flat fee for airport runs. Beware of companies that charge by time if you’re within a 10 mile radius of the airport. What if traffic is bad? That is how yellow taxis run.

Here is one that most people never consider and many get hit with. How much does it cost for your limo driver to wait for your late flight? Will you be charged extra, by the minute, if your flight is delayed? How much will the cancellation charge be if your flight never makes it to your destination? Remember to ask all these questions before booking any limousine with any limousine company.

Put It on at the Prom: Limo Rentals for That Big Night

Most kids can’t think of their prom without thinking about getting a limo for the big occasion. If only they put that much thought into choosing their limo! It may be uncool at school to say that you’re “researching” your prom limousine company, but just imagine how cool you’ll be on the night of the big dance when your luxurious stretch pulls up next to your buddy’s hoopty-all thanks to the little bit of homework you did to secure it.

Follow this handful of simple rules-the steps to landing the finest four wheels on prom night-and you’ll be sure to have the prom of your dreams.

Step 1. Be polite, be patient, and be prepared to call around. Prom night surely is a big night for high schoolers, but it’s also one heck of a night for Prom limousine companies. Many of them will have their whole fleet booked up. So expect to have to call around to several places to find an opening for the right limo, and be on your best behavior during each call. You want the limo company to hook you up, right? Not hang up.

Step 2. Ask around for trusted limousine referrals. One sure way to cut down on the number of places you’ll need to call is to talk to friends and family members who recently rented a limo. Maybe your cousin used one at her wedding and had a great experience, or maybe your aunt’s neighbor owns a Prom Limousine company.

Step 3. Check up on your A-list of limo companies. Once you have a list of possible rental companies, based on your referrals and your calls, get one last referral. Check with the Better Business Bureau or another local business organization. People tend to report on sketchy companies, so the more complaints you find, the farther away from that company you should stay.

Step 4. Make sure you, and the company of your choice, sign on the dotted line. No matter where you get your limo, get everything in writing in the limousine contract: the pickup time, the amount of hours you plan to use it, the make, model, and year of the limo you want. If you did steps 1, 2, and 3 correctly, many times this contract is just an unnecessary precaution. But on the other hand, there are a lot of horror stories about double bookings out there. Or how about that story about a prom group paying for a stretch Escalade limo, only to have a 1979 Hearse pull up in front of their house?

Step 5. Give yourself an out. Just in case there is any reality-TV-like drama before your prom-canceled dates, friends who won’t pay up, etc.-be certain that your limo company has a cancellation policy. Trust us, limo companies are used to last-minutes changeups, so don’t be embarrassed to ask about the policy-and receive a copy of it in print.

Lastly, have fun. We could tell you not to do anything immoral in the back of that limo, but we’ll leave that speech for your parents.

150 mph Stretch limousine police chase

This must be one of the wildest chases we have seen. And it happened right here in NY. 120mph speeding stretched Cadillac STS 140″. Notice how skillful the driver was. Even the cop said that it was a skilfull driver. This guy sets records for the wildest Limo chase ever encountered. And it happened to one of our friends. Yes, the owner of the limo was a guy who we know very well and he said that was his driver that stole the limo for a wild ride. You can check out more limos at Royal Luxury Limousine website.

Tie the Cans to the Right Limo: New York Wedding Limousine

Nothing says “big day” quite like a Long Island Wedding limo. Whether you’re talking the classic black stretch Caddillac Escalade limo or a romp ’em, stomp ’em stretch Hummer H2 limousine, the mere sight of the vehicle leaves an impression on everyone who sees it. Something fun, something great, is going down. It’s no wonder then that limos are always seem to be part of a wedding.

What people don’t know, though, is also the amount of something called research and something called planning that go into lining up these special rides for such an occasion. Not to scare you away from renting a limo for your wedding—that’s the last thing we want to do! Our goal is the exact opposite. We want to help you make that research and planning easy, so you can ensure that you will get the perfect limo for that big day.

When securing a limo, you want to ask three main questions. These will help you to narrow down your choices for what kind of limo you want – limousine fleet. Later, we’ll deal with choosing the right limo company, but first, you can’t go to the store until you know what you’re shopping for.

Step number one, of course, is to figure out exactly when should you start this planning and research. Most experts will tell you to begin thinking limo within six to nine months of your wedding date. Cutting it any closer could severely limit your selection of vehicles, and leave you with a risky lineup of rental companies. On the other hand, don’t play it too safe by calling more than a year before your wedding. Some places may not even take your call.

Once you have the timing down, your next question should focus on price: what are you looking to pay? A typical wedding limo rental rates could cost you on average $200 to $400 for three hours, depending on your location. Fancier types, your antique roadsters, Hummers, Expeditions, and the like, could run you into the quadruple digits. On top of it all, expect to tip your chauffeur between 15 and 20 percent of the total at the end of the night. We’re talking cash tip, people.

We know what you’re thinking. You can’t cut corners on your flowers or your band, so why not save money on the limo by renting it for a quick hour. Not going to happen. Read back to where we said “three hours.” That’s because most companies require at least three hours of renting as a minimum to cover pick-up, drop-off, and all the time spent traveling in between. You will also pay for the limo to wait for you at the ceremony, after the reception, etc.

It may sound like you’re paying half the time for the limo driver to listen the radio, but think of it more like paying for peace of mind. Weddings rarely go off without a glitch. One of the bridesmaids loses her bouquet, the groom’s mother disappears, the receiving line backs up. You name it, it can happen! So you’ll want to request that limo for more time than you actually think you’ll need: at least an extra hour. On top of that, figure another extra half-hour to organize photos, and another half-hour added on per every 100 people in your receiving line. You stress about everything else during your wedding; don’t add another worry with your limo.

As for that last main question—what size limo should you get?—that also gets back to the first two questions, and your budget and tastes. The key is balancing both, and making sure that in the end, the groomsmen won’t have to be balancing the bridesmaids on their knees in the back of the not-so-stretch limo. In other words, no matter what type of limo you opt for, go with one that’s larger than you think you need. Why? Typically, limo sizes go on the assumption that every person weighs 150 pounds. Though many females will be under that limit, it won’t take too many American males to tip the scales toward crowded, hot, and sweaty. So never imagine, for example, you’ll be able to fit 10 people in a 10-person limo.

With these three questions answered, you are well on your way to planning and researching your wedding limo. Now on to part two, narrowing down your selection of limo-renting companies.

New 2008 Audi Q7 Limousine Build process

About a month ago, we decided to build something different, something that nobody has it yet, something that has not been tried yet. We came to the conclusion to build something out of the ordinary – An AUDI Q7 Limousine. We did some research and came to the conclusion that nobody attempted to build this car yet. Nobody knows this car yet. Its a first release for Audi in the SUV market. This car has so much grace and style. We thought about building a Porsche Cayenne limousine but one problem with a Porsche limo – small door in the back and we feel that most wedding brides would have problems getting into the car with big dresses. Door in the Audi limo is pretty big and it opens really wide making it really easy to get into/and out of the vehicle.

Looking at styling of this car we thought lets try it. Nobody has this car stretched yet anywhere in the world. This would be a first attempt to build a limo out of this world. Eventhough not too many people know the name AUDI but we our style is to have limos that are different, out of the ordinary, VIP vehicles. Eventhough we could have build a Mercedes limo, we said not yet. Lets try Audi Q7.

Here is the begging of the build process. What a shame to cut such a nice looking $55,000 car. Only at http://www.royaluxury.com

Ferrari Limousine – like nothing you have seen before

We were just browsing a YouTube directory when we came across a video file of a Stretched Ferrari Limousine. Its black and its 12 cylinder engine. Its a total powerhouse exotic limousine. Check it out. Who knows, we may just get one of these one day if our boss feels like he has too much money to spend.

• The world’s fastest limousine can go from 0 to 60mph in less than six seconds

• It is made from a Ferrari 360 Modena chopped in half and stretched by 9.5ft with a section of hand-built carbon fibre

• It has a top speed of around 166mph – just 17mph less than the standard 183mph Modena

• The 20ft long car – which only seats eight people – is set to claim two Guinness World Records as the fastest limousine and the longest Ferrari.

The total cost of the project is thought to be around £200,000.

Dan, 37, who runs Style Limousines in Cheadle, Manchester, said his creation was a “supercar for the masses”.

He said: “Everyone always dreams about riding in a real Ferrari but very few people ever get the chance – but now they can, and bring friends along too.

You won’t find a mini-bar on here because it isn’t that sort of limousine. It’s about tasting a real driving experience, not just cruising past night clubs on Saturday night. In terms of performance it hardly feels any different from the original car on the road – you have to remind yourself how long it actually is when your going into a corner. And you can’t beat the look on people’s faces when you overtake them on the motorway, and the car just keeps on coming past.” Dan and Chris decided to challenge the opinion of American Exotic Limousines builders that a stretch Ferrari was impossible to build because traditional conversions use steel beams, which would make it too heavy. After consulting Ferrari engineers and drawing up detailed plans for a hi-tech carbon fibre conversion, a suitable donor car was found in January.

A £130,000 black 360 Modena with an F1 ‘paddle’ gear box – where shift levers are mounted behind the steering wheel – was bought second-hand for £55,000.

The left-hand-drive ’04 model, which had only covered 30,000 miles, was then delicately cut in half. Over the next eight months the carbon panels were designed and built. Like the original car, the V8 engine is still visible through the rear glass window. Extra crash protection bars and carbon roll over hoops have been installed for safety.

The brakes and gear box are all standard but the suspension has been uprated to cope with the added weight and to automatically raise the body while tackling speed bumps. Between each pair of seats is a 10-inch flat screen monitor which relays images from cameras mounted on the outside of the vehicle. A six speaker surround sound system and slimline DVD have also been built in. Surprisingly, the car returns an average of 15mpg on the motorway and costs only £1,800 a year to comprehensively insure for passenger carrying duties.
