A convoy of over 124 limousines from across the UK and stretching nearly 2 miles long, gathered in London last month to raise money for charity and set a world record. The event was sponsored by the National Limousine and Chauffeur Association and the European Limousine News and took place on October 8 along the Blackpool Promenade and was described as a GOLDEN MILE OF LIMOUSINES. The convoy raised a total of $40,000. Half of the money raised during the event was donated to charity of choice. Officials from Guinness World Records were on hand to award the event the WORLD RECORD LIMOUSINE CONVOY.
